The idea
Most task apps make you translate: pick a project, set a date, tidy the phrasing. Quiet Done stores what you write exactly as you wrote it—“eggs, milk, English muffins” stays “eggs, milk, English muffins.” When something’s finished, say so however it comes out, and the right task closes.
Your list stays private. For each task, you can choose someone who should hear when it’s done—or nobody. If you choose someone, they get a short note without needing an account, an app, or access to your open tasks.
What it deliberately leaves out
Quiet Done is not a project-management system. It has no calendars, priorities, shared boards, streaks, or team dashboards—and it never rewords or reorganizes what you wrote. Simplicity is the point: write it down, finish it, and quietly close the loop.
Requests work the same quiet way
You can send one request on a private link. The recipient can accept, decline, or mark it already done without creating an account. Nothing is added to their list unless they choose to accept it.
